What to Expect from an Air Quality Inspection

  • Time – An air quality inspection typically takes one to two hours, but it may take longer for larger buildings. Our team will give you a rough time estimate when scheduling your inspection so you can plan around it.
  • Sample Collection – Air quality inspections involve collecting samples from the air and from various surfaces in your building. For example, if we suspect you have a mold problem, we’ll take a few swaps from the affected area and send them in for testing. We’ll also analyze the airborne samples to determine what, if any, contaminants are present. From there, we’ll figure out what steps to take in order to improve your air quality.
  • Next Steps – Once our analysis and testing is complete, we will reach out to you to go over the results of your air quality inspection. We’ll explain the levels of VOCs (volatile organic compounds, which are what cause odors), germs, and other contaminants in your air supply, then provide suggestions about how to address the issues we have found.
